American Society for Surgery of the Hand
The American Society for Surgery of the Hand was founded in 1946 to facilitate the exchange of information related to problems of the hand. It is the oldest and largest medical specialty society in the United States devoted to the care of the hand. Dr. Koehler is a member and serves on committees.
American Association for Hand Surgery
The American Association for Hand Surgery represents a diverse but cohesive mix of hand surgeons and hand therapists. Comprised of over 1,400 members including orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, general surgeons, microsurgeons, hand therapists, nurses, and basic scientists, the Hand Association is an inclusive organization that welcomes individuals who are interested in joining the organization to fulfill its mission.
